"WELL HERE I AM AGAIN FOLKS"

WELL HERE I AM AGAIN FOLKS RATTLING THESE KEYS AGAIN.

TRYING TO UPDATE YOU THIS WEEK I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER REFRAIN.

FROM WRITITNG IN RHYME ABOUT MY LIFE WELL IT'S BEEN A HECTIC WEEK.

SCANNING THE LOCAL NEWSPAPERS FOR A WINDOW MAN TO SEEK.

NO NOT ONE WHO CLEANS THEM UP LADDERS BUT ONE WHO COULD FIT ME SOME BLINDS.

SO I RANG AND A GENTLEMAN CAME ALONG TO ME HE WAS VERY KIND.

HE GAVE ME A FREE QUOTE WITH DISCOUNT FOR BEING AN OLD MOTHEREHN. HE HE.

YES A PENSIONER AND WHILST HE WAS MEASURING I THOUGHT I WOULD GET OUT MY PEN.

TO WRITE YOU ONCE MORE A POSTING AND LET YOU ALL KNOW HOW I AM.

WELL I'M NOT TOO BAD THIS WEEK MY FRIENDS AND I'LL SOON BE CRACKING THAT PAN. HE-HE.

WITH SOME LOVELY EGGS AND BACON FOR BREAKFAST MAY I SAY.

MY COOKERS ARRIVED AND I LOVE MY EGGS THE EASY OVER WAY HE-HE.

THERE'LL BE DUMPLINGS TO MAKE AND PIES TO BAKE AND OH! WHAT A DELIGHT IT WILL BE.

TO BE ABLE TO SIT DOWN TO EAT A GOOD DINNER MOTHERHENS HAD TO MAKE DO YOU SEE.

WITH THE MICROWAVE FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS  AND I DON'T LIKE THEM AT ALL.

SO YES I'LL BE BAKING AND NOSHING ONCE MORE I'LL BE HAVING A BALL.

IV'E MANAGED A FEW MORE HEAVY JOBS LIKE I SAID WHEN A ONE MAN BAND.

A LITTLE BIT DIFFERANT FROM LAST YEAR SITTING AROUND ON THE SAND.

YET STILL I AM HAPPY EACH MORNING I RISE AND I LOOK OUT AT THE GREEN.

GREEN GREEN GRASS OF HOME MY FRIENDS AND AGAIN THE BLACKBIRD IV'E SEEN.

RUNNING BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS PITTA PATTA GO HIS FEET.

ON THE BACK LAWN TO ATTRACT THE WORMS SO HE CAN HAVE A TREAT.

DOWN BOBS HIS HEAD AS HE SNATCHES THE WORM I WATCH HIM ENJOY HIS CATCH.

YOU KNOW I LOVE GARDENS AND NATURE AND TO ME THE OCEANS  NO MATCH.

NOT FOR LAUGHING KATH ANYWAY SO YES I AM HAPPY ONCE MORE.

THOUGH THE GARDENING  WILL HAVE TO WAIT  AS I HAVE MORE IMPORTANT CHORES.

MY POTS ARE STILL FLOURISHING WONDERFULLY FROM LAST SEPTEMBER BACK WHEN.

I FILLED THEM ALL WITH WINTER PANSIES ANDD SHRUBS YES OLD MOTHERHEN.

WELL TODAY I'VE BEEN BUSY  SEWING TO RUN UP SOME DRAPES IF I CAN.

NOT ONLY THE OLD ARTHRITIC BONES ACHE BUT MY EYES TOO NOT PERFECT TO SCAN.

THAT EYE OF THE SEWING MACHINE NEEDLE GOOD GRIEF I'LL BE HERE ALL DAY.

TRYING TO THREAD THE YARN THROUGH IT BUT " WHERES THERES A WILL THERES A WAY ".

I'M SURE I WILL GET THERE THIS FIGHTER AND NO I WILL NEVER GIVE IN.

THEN WHEN FINISHED AND NEW BLINDS FITTED I CAN SIT BACK AND STARE WITH A GRIN.

ANOTHER JOB DONE WHAT'S TOMORROW I WILL SAY TO MYSELF AND SIGH.

KEEP GOING MOTHERHEN YOUR WINNING BUT  I WOULDN'T IF I DIDN'T TRY.

THIS WEEKS CALLED MY WNDOW TREATMENT WEEK THEN PRIVACY THERE WILL BE.

IV'E CLEANED THEM INSIDE AND OUT ON TH ELADDERS I WISH YOU COULD HAVE SEEN ME

 HE-HE.

IV'E FITTED THE KITCHEN ROLLER BLIND  CHAMPAYNE COLOUR WITH SCALLOPED EDGE.

AND A NEW PLANT AND PLANTPOT SITS THERE NOW  ON THE SUNNY WINDOW LEDGE.

WHAT A PERFORMANCE I HAD WITH THAT BUT I MANAGED IT IN THE END.

A FEW TAPS HERE WITH MY TOFFEE HAMMER TO DRIVE IN THE WORKINGS AND SEND.

THEM INTO THE TUBE WHICH THE ROLLER BLIND FITS ON NOT ENOUGH STREGNTH IN MY HANDS.

ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVOURITE GADGETS MY HAMMER IT KNOWS MY COMMAND.  HE-HE.

MY CAMERA I HAVN'T GOT WORKING YET THE BATTERIES ARE TO CHARGE FIRST.

I'LL SIT ONE DAY  READING  INSTRUCTIONS WITH A CUPPA TO QUENCH MY THIRST.

MY NEXT CHORES TO GO MOP THE GARBAGE BINS AND LINE THEM WITH NICE CLEAN BAGS.

BY THE TIME I HAVE DONE I WON'T BE MOTHERHEN I'LL BE A KNACKERED OLD HAG.  HE-HE.

SORRY MY FRIENDS FOR THE SWEAR WORD BUT I NEED TO HAVE A LAUGH.

OR I WOULDN'T BE ME WOULD I NOW FOLKS NO I 'LL ALWAYS BE LAUGHING KATH.

I'LL TRY TO PUT A FEW SNAPS IN FOR YOU WHEN I DO MY NEXT POST.

IF I CAN REMEMBER HOW TO INSERT THEM I'LL READ UP WHILST EATING MY TOAST. HE-HE.

SO ALL HAVE A LOVELY DAY NOW ENJOY WHATEVERS TO BE.

I'M TRYING TO GET BACK ON TARGET AND SEND THE ODD  COMMENT FROM ME.

I AM SURE I'LL REACH YOU ALL SHORTLY BUT I'M SO BUSY AT THIS TIME.

BUILDING THIS NEW HOME AND TELLING YOU ALL IN  MORE OF "MY SIMPLE RHYMES."

TO EVERY ONE OF YOU FOR BEING PACIENT IN DELIVERING MY COMMENTS  TO YOU !!

Aww! You're getting so much done.  It makes me feel guilty.  Maybe we have a few sunny days ahead,  and I need windows cleaned badly.  Keep on rhyming! Pat

I can tell from your rhyme that you are feeling better than you were Kath, don`t try to do too much though. I don`t like the microwave very much and only use it for defrosting, goodness knows why we bought it in the first place. Take care my friend. :o)

Love Sandra xxxx

I'm glad you are coming along nicely in your new place, but try not to over do.  I can barely keep up with my old place and cannot imagine starting anew.  I know you missed your garden , but you know me I would have taken the beach.  I have a garden well established with things that come up every year.  We rarely plant anything new now as there is not any room left in the beds.  A pot on the porch is about all the new plants now.  I share the garden with my next door sister and she is the gardener...I work at turning the soil and pulling the weeds but she is much more knowledgeabe than I.  I am finding that setting up my camper is quite a chore as I have bedding, towels, cleaning supplies etc that need to be there too.
That is nothing to compared to setting up a new home though.  Much smaller and simpler there at the campsite.  I hope to hear from you soon with pictures.

I'm a disaster at rhyming, Kath, so I stand in awe. Anyway, am pleased your new house is coming along nicely.

Kath, you seem so much like your happy self again.  I am so glad.  I was worried about you.  Being back in your old homeland seems to have brought you much contentment.  I can't wait until you have some pictures of your lovely flowers again.  Take care of yourself and take your time getting around to the journals.  Love xx Chris

Being able to cook will make your home feel more home-y, I'm sure. I hardly use my microwave, either. Take care of yourself. --Cin

Oh, I HAVE missed you Kath!  You will need to send me your new mailing address!  Your old one is no good to me anymore!  I am glad you are settling in.  I do want to write you an e-mail, but have lingered too long in bed this morning as I have to work all night tonight.  Hope to get one off to you later today on my break.  ((((hugs))) It's so good to have you back!

Sorry I am running late. So glad to see you made an entry Kath. :-)  Cute little puppy tag smelling the rose. lol Yes, food does taste better that has not been cooked in the microwave. I would like the gardens and green much better than the ocean. Oh Wow! you got on the ladder and cleaned windows... that is really energetic.  Have a wonderful week Kath with lots of blessings. Talk to you later. God Bless, Janie
